On May 17, College President Roger Ramsammy, Director of Global Initiatives Jay Deitchman, and Jennifer Zhao, executive director of the International Center of the Capital Region (ICCR), were honored to welcome Kevin Cassidy to campus.

Mr. Cassidy is director and representative to the Bretton Woods and Multilateral Organizations for the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for the United States. Mr. Cassidy is touring the United States to explore what labor “looks like” in local communities, and was brought to campus by the ICCR.
His visit to HVCC included speaking at an ICCR sponsored roundtable luncheon with business leaders and community stake holders, held at the Educational Opportunity Center and hosted by Dr. Denise Fernandez-Pallozzi, EOC executive director. Mr. Cassidy’s visit culminated with an evening panel discussion, entitled, “Connecting Diverse Communities to Sustainable Careers,” held in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center.
